Southwest PDP Upturns Chairman’s Suspension In Oyo.

The Southwest zonal office of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday upturned the suspension of the Chairman of the party in Ibadan North East Local Government of Oyo State, Taiwo Iyiola, over alleged anti-party activities.  It said the suspension of Iyiola by the State Working Committee (SWC) was arbitrarily without any preliminary hearing as demanded by the party’s constitution.  PDP spokesman in Oyo State Akeem Olatunji said on the phone that the Zonal Secretary, Daisi Akintan, who signed the letter reinstating the suspended chairman, lacked power to act without the consent of the Zonal Chairman, Dayo Ogunbenro. He said the purported letter was null and void.

Jennifer Aniston made her first official appearance on her good pal Howard Stern's SiriusXM show, and boy did he get some fun dish from her. The 65-year-old is in Los Angeles for a week of shows, and he was able to finally snag the 50-year-old actress for a sit-down.

He even offered to help set her up on a date, but Jen was having none of it. Howard asked Jen, "Are you enjoying being single," and she responded with a hearty "Yeah." The Morning Show actress split from second husband Justin Theroux, 48, in Feb. of 2018 and hasn't been linked to anyone since.

Howard even made the offer, “Do you want me to set you up with someone or not?” but Jen took a hard pass on it. “Not right now,” she responded. “But listen, I just don’t like being set up. I don’t like it. Hate it.”

It did not take long for Keith Reed, a deputy health commissioner in Oklahoma, to spot a big logistical problem with the state’s vaccination rollout. Week after week, Oklahoma was allocating thousands of precious doses to a federal program for nursing home patients that was not using them all. In fact, tens of thousands of doses were sitting untouched in freezers. So his department called an audible. It decided to stop allocating any more of Oklahoma’s vaccine supply to the federal program, a partnership with private pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens that is meant to immunize residents of long-term care facilities. The study by researchers at the University of Oxford is the first to document evidence that any coronavirus vaccine can reduce transmission of the virus.
